VidgatherHelp with Vidgather
Download Vimeo videos as MP4 with audio using Chrome on Windows. The interface is available in English and Spanish.
Install the extension
Vidgather has not been published on the Chrome Web Store yet. Once its listing is available, the Add to Chrome button on the homepage will take you there. Installation is completed in the store.
Download a video
Open the video page. Click Descargar on the player, or open Vidgather from the Chrome extensions toolbar. Choose the resolution and audio track, then click Descargar vídeo completo. Video and audio are saved together in an MP4.
Choose where to save
Click Elegir dónde guardar to choose the destination file. Keep the download tab open until the task finishes. You can continue using Chrome and cancel a task while it is downloading or preparing the file.
The video is not detected
Refresh the video page after installing the extension. Make sure the supported player is loaded. Detection and available quality depend on the sources offered by the player. Vidgather does not guarantee compatibility with every video.
Quality and audio
The highest available compatible resolution is selected initially. All supported resolutions are free, including 4K when available. You can select an audio track when the player offers multiple tracks. MP3 export, subtitle export, live streams and DRM-protected media are not supported.
Clear temporary data
Open Vidgather settings and click Borrar datos temporales while no download is active. Files already saved to your chosen folder and Chrome’s download history are separate from this data.

Email hola@pabloalcaraz.es with your Chrome version, Windows version, a description of the problem and any visible error message. Do not send passwords, cookies, private video links or sensitive media. The extension attaches nothing automatically.
